*Alpha-Eta University of Florida Gainesville, Florida Alpha-Eta was chartered and installed November 17, 1904. Charter members were Benjamin Hallon Bridges, Bernard Tillman Bridges, E. Peck Greene, John Seburn Peters, William Monroe Rowlett, Samuel Worthington Teague, Jr., William Allen Brown, Bachman Krouth Buck, Walter Mosellas Hackney, Wesley Troy Hall, The University of Florida was founded at Lake City and was moved to Gainesville in 1905. Alpha-Eta was moved with the University. Among Alpha-Eta's outstanding alumni are Dr. T. Z. Casson, authority on tuberculosis; Dr. W. M. Rowlett, prominent in medical circles; Judge Burton Barrs, judge of the Criminal Court of kecord; E. Dixie Beggs, youngest State's Attorney; Dr. Lucian Y. Dyrenforth, pathologist; Senator E. M. Johns, president of Florida State Senate at time of his death; Dillon Graham, Southern Sports Editor of Associated Press; and Robert M. Riculfi, donor of Riculfi Athletic Cup. Alpha-Eta has initiated more than four hundred men. In the World War forty-two active members of the Chapter saw service served; the number of alumni is not known. There were four men killed in action, one of whom was decorated.
