PAGE 1 HISTORY OF Alpha Eta CHAPTER FOR YEAR 1949 TO 19 50 Returning to the over growing University of Florida campus after a Summer of fun and frolic, the brothers of Alpha Eta greeted one another warnly and set to work to make 1949-50 another banner year in the history of P1 Kappa Alpha.More than ninoty brothers invaded this bustling college town, enger to contimue their college careers and carry forward the name of their chosen fraternity. The first big Job facing the good brothers was prep- aration for that most important of all fraternity activities, rush wook. The Rouse and yard were cleaned and the whole place put in tip top shape for the opening of one of the most hectic rush periods in the history of Alpha Eta. When the noise and confusion had abated we found ourselves with 55 of the most pronising pledges on the campus. However, later events were to prove that they were not the most scholarly group to be found.
