PIKE LARGEST WORLD'S CIRCULATION ALPHA ETA GATOR A MAGAZINE FOR ALUMNI UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA ALPHA ETA CHAPTER WINTER 1988 HOMECOMING 88 by Jim O'Leary, IMC This past Homecoming cele- bration was without doubt one of the best we have ever had. There was an incredible turnout, over 250 alumni thanks to all of you loyal alumni who attended. Without your presence and support, it would not have been such a success. As fall term Alumni Chairman, I was very proud and honored to get to meet so many of you. I would personally like to thank the following brothers for their warmness and sincerity: Rick Nail, A Frank Smith, Leo Rock, Arnold Tritt, David and Gary Poore, George Albright, Scott Eddy, and Judge O.H. Eaton. I really enjoyed meeting you. One of the highlights of the weekend, as far as the pledges were concerned, was the Saturday evening get together with the alumni. Thanks to the emerging as "the top house on campus." Almost great motivational speeches by alumni such as everyone, including the youngest of alumni, were Stephen Post, Arnie Tritt, and David and Gary astounded at the awesome look of our house. By Poore, and the pledge class became extremely fired next homecoming, the second phase will also be up. So fired up that it turned into an alumni/pledge completed and then there will be no disputing that the session of Pike cheers. To top it all off, our pledges Pike house is the most beautiful on campus. Great took third place in the house deck competition. thanks to all of you out there who have made this Next to the Gators, the talk of the weekend was house what is is today.
