The Active Chapter of Alpha Eta to Brother Letter, June 5, 1952
Alpha Eta Chapter
Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity
University of Florida
Gainesville, Florida
& co. THE ILL 121
June 5, 1952
Dear Brother:
You will find enclosed, the first publication of its kind that
your chapter has ever published. It isn't exactly a world almanac
but it has a lot of pertinent poop about a very important subject
your fraternity brothers. This little volume is a complete direc-
tory, containing the names and addresses of every brother initiated
into Alpha Eta from 1904 to the present day.
Needless to say a world of time and effort was put into gath-
ering the addresses that number some 1100; we can thank Brother
Bill Hayes for this momentous task. The lay-out, compilation,
editing and publishing was a product of Brother Frank Akerman.
The whole volume has but one purpose to give you the opportu-
nity of ascertaining where "HE"(?) is today, and to facilitate your
keeping up with the men that were your close friends as well as
your fraternity brothers when you were in college.
This is your book and presented for your pleasure and con-
venience. Be sure and let us know if we've overlooked anyone
and by all means give us a buzz if you know the present address
of any of the "Addresses Unknown". Here's hoping that you will
find a definite benefit from the "Alpha Eta Directory" and that it
will be of service to you.
You may search the thing from cover to cover and find nary
a string attached the only thing we ask of you is that you come
by the House the next time you are in Gainesville and
we
prom-
ise you that such a visit will not cost you a "red cent"
absolute-
ly no donations asked for, or accepted fair enough?
Fraternally yours,
THE ACTIVE CHAPTER OF ALPHA ETA
